Rated 5 out of 5 by from Viable alternative to gas Switched all my hand held equipment to GWC this summer. This blower is one of my favorites on the truck. This blower is comparable to the Sthil BR350. Lighter than the 350, it will do the same job without the noise, heat, smell, or maintenance. If you blow for 1 hour with a Sthil you will run out of gas. the batteries are expensive, but for me well worth it vs dealing with gas and noise. The drawbacks are. They are not waterproof. It is a shirt grabber. Note to Greenworks: If your going to sell to commercial cutters your equipment must be light, powerful, and above all be able to work in the rain. Otherwise it's homeowner stuff.
