Rated 5 out of 5 by from First mow was great I’ve used it once and it worked great. Not as powerful as gas but way better than my Ryobi 40v. It handles thicker grass well and does a good job bagging. We’ll see how it performs over the year and the battery’s get older. My lot is .41 acres and have a pool and shed to take up some of that area. It used a full battery charge to mow it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Beast of a Mower! This mower is far and beyond the strongest and fastest way to get my lawn cut. I love the dual blades and the width, I get great striping and a nice even cut with each pass. I HIGHLY recommend this mower!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mower I run a small lawn maintenance and landscaping business and this mower does great. I did a review on youtube if you prefer video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouWpqG4_dew Had it for about a year and continue to be impressed by the runtime as well as power. No, this mower does not have the power of a gas machine, but the benefits make up for any loss of power. No maintenance, no gas, it really requires little to no attention. Runtime is around 45-60 minutes with the 5ah battery, but it depends on the conditions. Cut quality is not the best, but certainly not bad. If your dealing with leaves, the suctions is below average and certainly not on the level of a gas mower, the same goes with mulching, adequate but not the greatest. Now, it might seem that this is slowly turning into a 2 star review, but this is a great mower and it deserves the 5 stars. Green works has developed one of the first larger battery mowers with specs never before seen in a walk behind battery mower. Is this equal to gas, not at all but its the first of its kind and gas has been around for decades. This is not likely to be the main mower for a decently sized commercial outfit but it can certainly function as a good weekly / bi-weekly mower for a crew. Very satisfied with the product, looking forward to the improvements to come.

What are the main differences between this and the pro version?

Asked by: scooter123
Hello scooter123, We appreciate your interest. The ultimate difference comes down to the intended use and the warranty coverage. Our 60V model is designed for residential consumer use and is covered by a 4-year warranty (90-days for commercial use). Model 82SP25M is intended for commercial use and is backed by a 2-year warranty which is addressed with your nearest dealer. You'll also notice the difference in handle design. While both units operate at 4000 RPM, the 60V model also has a turbo button to maximize blade speed and torque at user control. Turbo speed is up 4500 RPM. If you plan to eventually have multiple Greenworks tools, it is important to pick a voltage that you want to grow with as batteries are not interchangeable between product lines. While there are a few internal and construction differences as well, these are some of the more notable points. For further information, please feel welcome to contact our team directly at info@greenworkscommercial.com. We would be happy to chat!
